The tridicon™ System has been developed by GTA's research team over many years and is a cutting edge photogrammetry based system with highly automatized 3D modeling capabilities. The tridicon™ system is optimized for high quality, high flexibility and high efficiency to meet any kind of different requirements for 3D city models.

Suitable input data are stereo aerial or satellite imagery and LiDAR data. Terrestrial digital photos can be used to model special buildings.

For texturing tasks there is a range reaching from fully automated texturing out of aerial images (or car based terrestrial imagery) over highly efficient parametric texturing until high resolution photorealistic textures.
